Begining of the year

The start of this season was a bit slow but that was ok with me as I had some rather large tests to finish up at school as I'm graduating this semester. I've been waiting for this winter for a long time, not just to ski but to have a winter where I'm not trying to juggle school, work and skiing. Usually when I come down from the mountain I'm anxious for the next day and the past few years I could usually only go every other day. I love coming home and knowing that I'll be back up skiing the next day. I've mainly been skiing at Alta so far and have barely left Wildcat it's been so good. All the new snow last week gave me a chance to try out my new Mavens ( http://bluehouseskis.com/node/99 ) which are by far one of the funnest skis I've ever ridden. I have one more week of skiing then I'm off to Mexico for a week and a half but hopefully it'll keep dumping like it has been this last week while I'm gone.
